For us, parent coaching provides a support system to those caring for children. Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis (ASD, ADHD, ADD) or coming into some new difficult behavioral situations or newly identified deficits, or even new to parenting (ages 2-17). We will walk alongside you in learning how to better understand the 'why' of behavior, and how to navigate its challenges in your home through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. We provide our recommendations of research backed positive behavior practices and training on their implementation. Our goal is for you to walk away with confidence in handling any behavior challenges.
Our experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Emily Childs M.S. BCBA LBA-TN, has worked alongside neurodivergent and neurotypical children with various developmental disabilities for close to a decade. She has worked in variety of settings including, homes, schools, clinics, and wherever the needs arise. She is still active in her work as an ABA (applied behavior analysis) provider. She is required to maintain CEU credits which allows her to remain up to date on current practices in the field of behavior analysis. Outside of work, Emily is a mother of 2 girls, allowing her to apply her own knowledge and experience into the role of a parent and maintaining a greater understanding of what our families are struggling with.
